A Big Thank You To: Jennings Terrace Board Member Jack Smith and the Carousel of Sound DJ Service for producing the great Vintage Car Show event on May 24th. The weather was fantastic and over 33 cars participated in this years event. The Jennings Terrace Auxiliary members supplied home baked goods and sold beverages. Our own Chefs Juan and Jorge manned the grill and served up an assortment of hamburgers, hot dogs, spicy brats and sweet Italian sausages for those attending. So many Jennings staff members worked hard to make this event a fun day for everyone. Hopefully this will become a tradition to look forward to each year. Everyone who helped with the Annual Mother’s Day Tea Party. Angie Shackleton and Tina Ballaard prepared fresh fruit salad, and tea sandwiches, Judy Bauer made and donated an elegant cake, decorated with lilacs to match lilac centerpieces, Janet Geiger and her students provided violin background music, Jennings Auxiliary helped served and socialized with the residents, Chris Shackleton took pictures and Lee Shackleton helped with set up and clean up.
